the first took from 1:25 A.M on 6/21/01 to 7:46 A.M on the same day to complete. it also happens to be the first drawing i did COMPLETELY on the computer, from start to finish, that i'm actually proud of. yes, i've done others... but this one looks good. if i do say so myself. and i do, so there. yes, it was done in photoshop. i'm a little dissapointed in my workhorse, psp, because my drawing tablet does not work very good within it, as apposed to within phoshop. so... without further ado. the finished product, followed by a short animated gif, chronologing my adventures in photoshop art. isn't that exciting? i thought so.
ok. i got some help over at the sijun.com forums. i fixed up some lighting problems and just generally made the picture look better. hope you guys think so. email me and tell me what you think. oh yeah, and i updated the gif with two new steps. the last one and one i forgot :P
ok, so, matt rhodes and i have decided to play a little game. i've been feeling a big hole since EnGARDE fell through, and i just figured out what that hole was. competition. gotta keep the juices flowing with other artists, or i'll never get better. and i certainly haven't been getting better. so, matt and i are trying to push each other to do better by drawing aysha's characters as best we can. i hope i can keep this up. my thumb is raw. i so need a new tablet. anyways, here's the next character, Erikkan. and, of course, the requisite animated gif. don't forget to email me and tell me what you think. next... astral.
finished up astral and lillia. unF. so much work, and i'm not completely satisfied with either. but i learned a lot and that's really what this venture was all about.
